Blog 10: The Holiday

1.  It is important to consistently work on your senior project, whether it is break or we are in school.  What did you over the break with your senior project?

During winter break, I was able to get the opportunity to work with another Starbucks manager Landon at his store located on mountain and 6th in Ontario. I worked with numerous experienced partners that each taught me something different on how to become a sucessful partner.

2.  What was the most important thing you learned from what you did and why?  What was the source of what you learned?

To be honest the most important thing I learned throughout this wild experience at mountain and 6th was to constantly remind partners and myself that  it's just coffee. From having the store make close to 18,000 thousand dollars in one day we had customers that had approximately 20 minute wait times or spent around 100 dollars  on drinks and it got me thinking that this is a way that we must run a coffee shop.

3.  If you were going to do a 10 question interview on questions related to answers of your EQ, who would you talk to and why?

I would speak with my manager Daniel Lerch because he's extremely experienced on managing Starbucks coffee shops and I believe he has the ability to teach me numerous things about being a successful manager.
